A door quote from a factory looks different from a retail price tag. The final price depends on the exact model, size, quantity, destination port, and shipping method, so suppliers quote per inquiry rather than publishing one number. This page explains how the process works so you know what to send and what to expect back.

How the quote process works

Send your project details through the Get a Quote form: door type, opening size, quantity, destination port, and timeline. The factory confirms the specification, prepares pricing, and replies with a formal quotation that lists the unit price, total value, and terms. Most factories respond within 24 hours for standard products. Custom sizes and certified fire doors may take longer because the engineering team checks the details first.
What the price includes
A factory quote normally covers the door assembly, packaging for export, and the agreed trade terms. It does not automatically include sea freight, customs clearance, import duties, or local installation. Confirm which items are inside the price before comparing quotes from different suppliers.
Sea freight and delivery
Sea freight is quoted separately because it depends on the destination port, container size, and current shipping rates. For doors from China, production usually takes 15-35 working days and sea freight to the USA or Europe takes 50-70 working days. The supplier can recommend the most economical shipping method once the port and quantity are known.
MOQ and pricing tiers
Minimum order quantity varies by product. Standard doors often have a lower MOQ, while fully certified fire doors or custom colors may require a larger quantity. Unit price usually drops as quantity increases, so ask for pricing at the quantity you actually need rather than guessing.
Lead time and certifications
Confirm the production lead time before placing an order, and ask for the certification documents that match your market, such as UL, CE, or ISO reports. Fire rated products must ship with the test report for the exact model.
What happens after I send an inquiry
You receive a formal quotation by email with pricing, lead time, and documents. Compare the specification, not just the price, and ask questions if anything is unclear. Once the details are agreed, the factory issues a proforma invoice and confirms the production schedule.
